Build up a samples portfolio for your own reference or to pursue your sewing career.
Choose from the ABC of sewing skills (below) and learn samples to build onto your existing level. Stretch yourself! You’ll be amazed at how much you’ll learn in a day.
Each method will be demonstrated and you’ll then repeat the technique yourself.
You can mount your samples on card as a permanent record and build up your own portfolio of sewing samples.
It is essential to book your place in advance so that you can choose the skills you’d like to learn on the day.

You will need to bring a sewing machine and your sewing kit but all other materials will be provided.
If you don’t have a machine you can borrow one for the day for £5 (booked in advance).
